Microcredit Foundation LIDER proudly continues the tradition of supporting the preservation of the Earth by organizing another forestation campaign anent the Day of the planet Earth. This time, the action took place in the idyllic location of Gornja Breza, being opportunity for employees and their families to get together, work and have fun.
In cooperation with the Forestry Company “Šumarstvo” Vareš, thanks to their technical and material support, we planted 1.000 seedlings of pine . Besides planting, participants had an opportunity to educated themselves on the significance of forests for the eco-systems, techniques of planting and preserving the plants. Particular focus was put on the youngest participants as this campaign will surely inspire them for future environmental activities.
“Recognizing our commitment for future generations and the planet Earth, MKF LIDER traditionally organizes the forestation campaigns. “Our commitment to environmental protection reflects in each tree that we plant as we trust that together we build greener future”, the message is from MKF LIDER.
