Last week, the Faculty of Business Administration (FBA) at the International University of Sarajevo (IUS) had the privilege to host Mr. D\u017eavid Sejfovi\u0107, Director of Microcredit Foundation Lider, for an insightful guest lecture on \u201cLeadership and Management in Microcredit Foundation Lider: Driving Impact and Growth.\u201d The session focused on innovative and essential themes including green finance, sustainable development goals (SDGs), electromobility, solar systems, environmental, social, and governance criteria (ESG), and more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mr. Sejfovi\u0107 delivered an extensive overview of leadership practices and management strategies applied within Lider, showcasing how the foundation contributes meaningfully to sustainable growth and community development. His presentation bridged theory and practice, highlighting the importance of integrating environmental responsibility with financial innovation to foster impactful microcredit services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The lecture was organized for students enrolled in the \u201cIntroduction to Management\u201d courses, taught by Prof. Dr. Senad Busatli\u0107 and Adjunct Instructor Dr. Aida Akagi\u0107-Hod\u017ei\u0107. These early management classes provided perfect context for students to engage with real-world examples of leadership challenges and opportunities within the microfinance sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Student participation was notably vibrant throughout the session.
